Initial exam through the eyes of a six year old.

Thank you for making me feel comfortable. At first I was afraid to come in because I wasn't sure what you were going t do and if it was going to hurt. The lady that took all the pictures of my teeth was very nice. I am not afraid now to get my expander because I know that the ladies and doctors will take good care of me and try not to make it hurt. I can't wait to start fixing my smile. Thank you everyone for being so nice and talking to me not just my mom. That makes me feel special.

Getting Great Service Was NOT Like Pulling Teeth!!

We were able to schedule our initial appointment without a long wait which often happens when needing a specialist. The office staff was courteous, kind, and efficient. Dr. Nate was thorough and answered all of our questions without rushing. Kristin was also excellent when interacting with our son. They both took special care to make sure they included him when discussing the findings. We left with a complete understanding of what course of action was needed.

Loyal client for life!

I am 32, the mom of Kasara. I received my braces from the Mellions years ago and knew when it was time for my daughter to receive hers there was no one else I would take her to. I even drive from Cleveland just to take her there. When my son is due for braces he will go to the Mellions as well. They are exceptional caring orthodontists and have made so many people smile!

Beyond expectations

Great Initial Consultation

The initial orthodontic consultation for our 8-year-old daughter was very positive. We were very impressed with all the x-ray and digital images taken of her mouth and the thorough explaination of what conditions existed and suggested treatment for correction. We felt the office really cared about helping us and making us feel welcomed. Half way through the appointment our daughter whispered she wanted to come here and that really sold it for us. We look forward to working with the Mellion office in the future.

Preparing for braces

My daughter got braces in April 2011. I just wanted to post how wonderful our experience has been to date with Drs. Mellion. She was watched for nearly two years prior to getting the braces. The doctors were concerned that her jaw was going to continuing growing (protrude beyond acceptable limits) and didn't want to waste our money/time by putting on the braces too early. After waiting, watching, continuing to evaluate her situation, they finally decided her jaw was set and she had pretty much finished growing. She had braces on within the month and has had no problems with them at all. My son is now undergoing the wait and watch. He needs to lose baby teeth before he gets braces. When we first shopped around, everyone was in a rush to get the braces on my daughter. I TRULY appreciate the wait and see approach that we experienced with Drs. Mellion instead of the rush to get them on and if there's a problem, pay more later. I find them to be very profession, explain everything in detail, and I really just like them all as people. Thank you for the great work you're doing!

thanks for the beautiful smile

I was nervous about getting braces at age 28 but all the doctors & staff at Mellion Orthodontics made me feel at ease the first time we met at my consultation. I was relieved there was an affordable payment plan available because I was paying right out of my own pocket. Mellion Orthodontics is the place to go if you want to be treated like family but still receive all the professionalism and efficiency!!!!

Consult

My daughter and I came in for her initial consult. This was a second opinion for her course of treatment. Dr. Joe went above and beyond to thorougly explain the treatment that my daughter can expect over the next few years. She had a lot of questions and he took the time to listen to every concern that she had, and answered every quesion that she had. I felt very confortable with Dr. Joe and the staff and will be back to Mellion Orthodontics to start my daughter's long road of treatment. My daughter left her consult appointment and said "Mom, I really like Dr. Joe, I want to come here". I think that statement says it all.

All the Docs and staff at Mellion take the time to help you and your child understand the process and what is needed. They are proactive and appreciate being able to see the children early to determine if Orthodontia is in their future so they can keep a eye on them while they are still in the post-orthodontia stage. The doctors work to make your child's visit to the Orthodontist comfortable and take their time to prevent anxiety.

Best investment in orthodontistry

Having three of four family members complete brace work at Mellions, in Massillon, I can affirm they are the BEST! The team is exceptionally talented (correcting oddities other orthos said couldn't be corrected) , services are at competetive prices with payment plans, and the environment in familial! We each go back every 6 months for a check up and walk away so grateful for the choice we made to invest in Mellion Orthodontistry!

Very Kid Friendly

The entire staff at the office was very welcoming. Everything was explained to us very thoroughly and in terms that even my 13 year old son could understand. The visit was for my son and they made him the center of attention. They spoke directly to him and consulted us, the parents. They didn't push treatment on us and explained that it would be best for us to come back in 6 to 12 months. That showed me that they cared about doing what was best for my son and not to just send a bill.

Highly Recommended Orthodontists!

The orthodontists and the entire staff are very friendly and helpful. They explain everything to us when we go in and get us in and out quickly during our appointments. They are flexible and try to find appointment times to fit our schedule. All 4 of the orthodontists are kind and wonderful!

A mature review

I just completed 14 months of treatment. My teeth look fabulous. Although I am more mature than most of the Mellion patients, I never felt out of place there. Every visit was pleasant and everyone who works there really cares about each person. I am so pleased I chose to fix my teeth at my age.
